- Kahlil Gibran, 1883 - 1931
Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold.
- Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy, 1828 - 1910
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.
- Maurice Setter
Where as gold is the kindest of all hosts when it shines in the sky, it comes an evil guest unto those that receive it in their hand.
